Ajinomoto Omnichem: Module Type Package (MTP) used in an industrial system
2024-03-06
Modular packaging is a modern packaging form that stores and transports chemicals and goods in relatively small
containers in an optimized mannerfor efficient use in industrial production processes. Ajinomoto Omnichem offers
several types of modular packaging, including: 20-foot containers, which provide sufficient capacity and space to
maintain the freshness and safety of raw materials or goods, and can meet various storage and transportation needs;
40-foot containers, which provide larger storage capacity and bearing capacity, suitable for large-scale industrial
analysis and research, and can be used in multi-channel process control; and ISO moisture-sensitive containers,
which are based on ISO regulations and have reinforced moisture control to prevent raw materials and goods from
being affected by humidity, temperature, light, and air pollution, and are suitable for industries with high environmental
requirements.

The precision machining of large components is by no means an easy task. How to produce gears, screws, or contact pins for connectors used in clocks with micron-level accuracy in large quantities? Swiss companies Esco and Affolter have achieved this goal by equipping their CNC machine tools with Beckhoff's TwinCAT CNC and servo drive technology.
